Dry Media Blasting
Parts will be placed into a sealed blast cabinet and blasted, with dry media (sand, glass, walnut shell, etc.) removing a thin microscopic layer of material giving them new life with a clean a rugged feel. After being blasted parts will go into the parts washer to remove any excess media left behind then dried by hand and inspected. Parts going into blast cabinet must already be degreased or roughly cleaned if not there will be an added charge of $50for parts washing service added to final bill.
$80 (anything that can fit into the cabinet)
Vapor Honing
Similar to dry blasting but 100 times better. Vapor honing adds water to the mix of pressurized air and abrasive media when blasting parts and components. The addition of water creates a sort of cushion for the media never allowing it to actually touch your part but rather create a scrubbing swirling motion that not only cleans better than dry blasting but also lightly polishes parts leaving them looking better than factory. Safe for pretty much anything and will give your parts new life without indenting on softer metals like brass parts inside of carburetors. All vapor honed parts will have to be de-greased and cleaned in parts washer before going into the blast cabinet, and again after before being set up to dry.
$100 minimum for 1st hr
$50 for each additional 30 min
Part Washing
Disassembled or individual parts will be carefully handled and put through a parts washer that has the right solution to not only clean dirt, oil and grime off but to prevent any damage or oxidation to the newly cleaned parts.
$50 (carburetors not included)
Polishing
Starting at $60 price varies depending on level of finish required and size of piece being polished.
